About the Bloomington Campaign

The Bloomington campaign will take place September 25th – November 3rd outside of Planned Parenthood off of Veterans Parkway. This clinic prescribes chemical abortion through 11 weeks and also refers to Springfield for surgical abortions. This is a very critical location with Bloomington-Normal being home to Illinois State University—a very vulnerable demographic for abortion. From 1995-2020, roughly 8,000 residents of McLean County had abortions. The vast majority were likely performed at this clinic.

Why You Should Consider Participating
Abortion is one of the gravest injustices in the history of the world—73 million babies are killed every single year worldwide. There have been an estimated 1.5 billion babies killed in the last 50 years. Every single one of these children were created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27) and they were taken from where God had designed for them to be the safest and most protected (Psalm 139:13-16).

We as Christians are called to be salt and light—this includes preserving good and limiting evil. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” We have allowed this injustice to go on for far too long, and we must repent and call on the Lord.
