“Divine Revelation is the way that Almighty God personally invites us to know, love, and serve Him.” That is the first line of my Festival Letter this year, The Real Presence, and also the theme to this year’s Annual Diocesan Appeal—to Know God, to Love God, and to Serve God.
When you support the Annual Diocesan Appeal, not only do you support the Diocese, but you also support your parishes, schools, and communities. You enable everyone to grow in knowing, loving, and serving God. We are helping one another on our journey to be with God for eternity.
Thanks to your generosity, I believe that the Catholic Diocese of Peoria is alive in the practice of knowing, loving, and serving our good God. I thank you and I bless you for your prayerful gift to the Annual Diocesan Appeal this year.

~ Given the volume of weekly Masses, the required time for sanitizing our church buildings after each Mass, and the limited number of volunteers, we are in need off additional volunteers as sanitizers and specialized ushers. Please consider helping to keep safe your fellow brothers and sisters who worship in-person at our church buildings by volunteering as a sanitizer or as a specialized usher (who escorts fellow parishioners to their pews when arriving at weekend Masses). Just a little training is necessary . . . as well as a generous and willing heart! To volunteer as a sanitizer or specialized usher for Holy Trinity, please contact Karen Walch, at firstname.lastname@example.org and for Historic St Patrick, please contact Alan McDowell, email@example.com. [Additionally, I wish to thank those currently serving so generously as sanitizers and specialized ushers in our church buildings! May God reward you for these very important tasks!
