What is an EQUIP group?-Traditionally speaking, they are 6-8 weeks in length with groups of 8-10 people. -Learn more about the beauty of our Catholic faith and her teachings. -Study a book of the Bible or specific faith topic, such as Mary, Apologetics, the Eucharist, etc. -Go deeper in prayer and dive into the Scriptures. -Grow closer to Jesus in your own personal faith journey, as well as grow in community with fellow parishioners. -The goal is for them to ultimately be mainly parishioner-led.
What is a Connect group?-Connect Groups are an opportunity for Alpha alumni to meet informally, once a month, in a small group setting. We begin by sharing a potluck meal together. It is an opportunity to just relax and enjoy sharing our Christian walk and to grow in our faith. After dinner we break into smaller groups of 5 or 6 people to talk about the faith-based topic for the evening. Similar to Alpha, there are a few discussion questions to get things started. We pray together as a group at the end of the evening also. We have a lot of fun. We feel supported and encouraged as we live our lives of disciples of Jesus.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which adults become full, participating members of the Catholic Church.
Participants go through a process of studying the Gospel, nurturing their relationship with God, becoming familiar with the Catholic teachings, professing their faith in Jesus and his Church, and receiving the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and First Holy Communion.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Typically run over eleven weeks, each session looks at a different question that people can have about faith and is designed to create conversation. It’s just an open, informal and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.
The talks are designed to engage guests and inspire conversation. Usually around thirty minutes long, they can be given as a live talk or played as a video, all for free. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? and How can I have faith?
