No Communal Penance Services in Advent

No Communal Penance Services in Advent ~ Please avail yourself of the sacrament of Confession sometime in the Season of Advent, which is a season of preparation.  It is not reasonably possible to hold a Penance Service due to the many Covid-19 precautions in place.  [FYI: there will be no Penance Services at any of the B-N area Catholic Churches.]  Between Holy Trinity and Historic St Patrick Parishes we have Confession offered seven times per week: please check bulletin or website for times.  Give Jesus a clean heart in which to dwell at Christmas!

Stay Connected!

In an effort to keep everyone connected to Church News during the pandemic, we want to make sure all parishioners have access to the weekly bulletin. The bulletin is online accessible by visiting our parish website and is also available in paper versions at the doors of the Churches. Do you know of someone who has not been able to attend Mass but would like a bulletin mailed to them? Please let us know by contacting Jen or Susie at the Parish offices.

Giving Tree will happen this year!

Remember last year when all those presents were under the trees at our churches?  We’ll do it again this year to benefit families in our community and Birthright.  It will look different this year because Covid prevents us from having trees and tags.  Check out the page for our Giving Tree.

Custodian Position Available

Custodian Position Available ~ We are very thankful for the great work Michael Rademacher did as a custodian at our parishes!  May God bless him in his future endeavors.  But with the departure of Michael, we are now in need of a custodian/janitor for taking care of Holy Trinity and Historic St Patrick buildings and grounds. The position entails 20 hours/week and offers a decent per hour wage. The work time would be 7:00am to 11:00am Monday thru Friday.  Job description would include (among other things) regular cleaning, building maintenance, basic handy-man knowledge, use of power tools and other tools, and basic grounds-maintenance.  We are looking for a good steward, a conscientious worker, and a responsible individual.  Please contact Fr. Stirniman via email or phone, at either Holy Trinity Parish Center or Historic St Patrick Rectory.

St Vincent De Paul needs volunteers

Saint Vincent De Paul Pantry

Saint Vincent De Paul Pantry Needs Volunteers for Proposed Saturday Morning Food Distribution.

Expansion of our food sharing mission would better serve our clients and offer new volunteer opportunities to those unable to volunteer on Monday. Our plan is to operate two Saturdays each month and to begin in November--- assuming we have enough volunteers. This can be a very rewarding opportunity of service.

We need your help!

~ Given the volume of weekly Masses, the required time for sanitizing our church buildings after each Mass, and the limited number of volunteers, we are in need off additional volunteers as sanitizers and specialized ushers.  Please consider helping to keep safe your fellow brothers and sisters who worship in-person at our church buildings by volunteering as a sanitizer or as a specialized usher (who escorts fellow parishioners to their pews when arriving at weekend Masses).  Just a  little training is necessary . . . as well as a generous and willing heart!  To volunteer as a sanitizer or specialized usher for Holy Trinity, please contact Karen Walch, at and for Historic St Patrick, please contact Alan McDowell,   [Additionally, I wish to thank those currently serving so generously as sanitizers and specialized ushers in our church buildings!  May God reward you for these very important tasks!
